Unit 10 HW 420

  • Review your unit 3 personal assessment of your psychological, physical, and spiritual well-being. Reflect on these areas .

    • How did you score yourself on a scale from 1 to 10 in unit 3? I think I scored myself as a 5-6
    • How do you score yourself now? the same
    •  Has the score changed? Why or why not? because I have spent all my time pretending to be a writer, talking about my feelings for the past 10 weeks

  • Review the goals and activities you set for yourself in each area. Have you made progress toward the goals? Explain. No because by the time im done answering the same three questions about these same areas the last thing I want to do is actually work on them.

  • Have you implemented the activities you chose for your well-being in each of the three areas? Explain. Yes, I continue to improve myself physically but not so much spiritually and psychologically although the exercises in meditation are helping. I'm doing them right now...

  • Summarize your personal experience throughout this course. Have you developed improved well-being? What has been rewarding? What has been difficult? How will this experience improve your ability to assist others?
  • Honestly, I don't know what I think about this course. I think it has some very helpful and useful information but the repetition of the assignments as a blog assignment literally have been a huge pain. Having to constantly reassess the same areas with the same exercises and the same question, over time have become tedious and hinders my motivation to anything wise involving this course. However, this course has revealed that the mind and body are most certainly connected and that trying to heal one without making sure the other s healthy would be doing a disservice to the individual involved.

    1. I love that you are so brutally honest when answering the questions. The course did involve a lot of monotonous questions and answers, but I feel doing things over and over or thinking about them over and over can sometimes be really helpful in discovering who you really are or strive to be. It is like practicing a sport--the more effort you put into it, the better you can become! I can definitely say this course opened my eyes to areas I never would have even considered to be possible or connected to health and wellness. I wish you the best in all you do and set out to do!
